Phase One

 

Research on the market /industry in general

We will conduct research into the area of business targeted in order to assess competition in the field, the current market needs and trends and the probability of success. This research will also include learning about import and sales taxes and duties on products and any relevant import or sales restrictions.

Prepare a detailed research report on the market /industry in general

​

We will prepare for you a detailed report which covers all of the areas of research detailed above.

We will conduct research into the area of business targeted in order to assess competition in the field, the current market needs and trends and the probability of success. This research will also include learning about import and sales taxes and duties on products and any relevant import or sales restrictions.

Research trade organizations and associations and a list of potential clients/partners

 

Initially, we will conduct research to learn about trade organizations and associations connected with targeted business area. By doing this, we can determine which groups are important to the business and where help and advice can be found to help enter your company enter the market.

 

We will use the knowledge of the groups and their member companies as a starting point to create a data base of potential target client/partner companies. We will conduct other research through JETRO, nationwide journals, Expos and Trade Fairs and business data bases to create a detailed list of prospective client/partner companies.

 

Create a research report including a detailed data base on potential client companies (priced in 50s)

 

Our report will include an excel data base which shows the size of the company, the number of their outlets, a contact address and information, where possible, on the name of a contact person. The companies will be ranked by size and sales potential. The number of companies targeted will be decided by you and charged accordingly.

Phase 2

​

Help create and translate fliers and introduction letters in Japanese

 

We will help to create an introduction letter translated into Japanese to send to potential client/partner companies. We also recommend creating a flier in Japanese to include in the introduction letter. We will help design the flier and translate it into Japanese.

 

Mail out letters of introduction/fliers to all potential client/partner companies 

 

We will begin the contact process mailing the introduction letters with fliers to the required number of client/partner companies. This can be done on mass, or staggered, according to your preference.

 

Follow-up with phone calls and email to all potential clients.

 

After a period of two weeks, we will begin systematically calling all of the targeted client/partner companies. Those that cannot be reached will be contacted by email.

 

Give regular update reports on progress with each client through weekly meetings with you

 

The excel data base will be regularly updated, and available for your attention, at any time. We will hold weekly meetings with you to discuss status and progress and to discuss how to proceed with each company contacted.

Phase 3

​

Set up either face-to-face or online meetings with the clients

 

We will arrange either face-to-face or online meetings with interested client/partner companies at mutually convenient times. We will attend all initial meetings with you to act as advisors, translators and interpreters on your behalf. 

 

Continue to act as liaison throughout the business arrangement

 

If required, we will continue to act as liaison throughout any business arrangement you successfully create. This would include continuing to attend meetings and acting as translators/interpreters and offering advice on how to move forward.

 

Help with translating and checking all relevant legal and other documents

 

If required, we will translate and advise upon any contracts, legal documents or other important documents.

Arrange sites at expos or fairs

 

As part of our research, we will have identified relevant Expos and Trade Fairs associated with your field of business. If required, we can help to arrange for your company to exhibit at booths or stalls of those you decide are of interest to you.

 

Provide interpreters at expos and fairs

 

If required, we can join you at any Expos or Trade Fairs to act as translators/interpreters and offer advice in how to proceed with each prospective client/partner company.

 

Arrange accommodation and take care of travel arrangements for visits to Japan 

 

If required, we can arrange accommodation and take care of travel arrangements for you for Expos, Trade Fairs or company visits during your visits to Japan. We can provide drivers and interpreters throughout your visit. We can also take care of restaurant bookings for you.

 

Arrange transportation and guides for sightseeing visits or other trips

 

If required, we can arrange tours with guides and interpreters for sightseeing trips and other non-business related activities.​​
